Prints on Plaster

These one-of-a-kind prints were made using a wide variety of printmaking techniques --etched and engraved plates, linoleum blocks and woodcuts, monotype and embossing. I printed these pieces by pouring plaster over the inked plates. Once the plaster dried, I pried off the plates to reveal the print. This method allows combinations and arrangements of plates that are not possible when printing in the traditional manner on paper.
I think of all of these pieces as fragments of larger stories. I hope they connect what I know with what you know.
